Green Wood welcomes a new resident

Over the past few days I have been making a water tower for near the pond.

I have added an old loading bay to the end of the goods yard. This was the first infrastructure that was built when Green Wood was a small halt. I guess the town grew up because of it......

While I have deleted all your previous comments, I have made a decision that any future impolite comments will remain visible from now on. I really could not be bothered to delete them.

My I politely suggest that if you have a point to make, that you use your own name and write in sensible language. I am more than happy to accept comments and criticism of the layout if they are well thought out and politely made.

Life is too short. However if you wish to vent your frustration and anger, may I suggest you channel your efforts into something worthwhile, like picking up litter, or volunteering somewhere?

The result of a few nights tidying up:

Spent a little solo time in the shed last night and made a video.

I am sad to announce that my father passed away in the early hours of Friday morning.

He was a great fan of the layout, and would come in every time he was here and try and spot what I had done to it.

You were a good man, Dad, a very good man.

And I loved you.

I have decided that a new, smaller project may be the way to overcome my current hiatus. I will be able to get back to drawing plans on shop receipt's, cutting wood and the basics again.

Something a little daring, and different. I am not even sure I can get it to work, so there is a press embargo until it is up and running............

Mojo is severely lacking. The layout is officially "on ice". The stock has been removed and everything under a dust cover.
